But when you have small children it's rare to have the time, opportunity, childcare or energy to do anything for YOU. There are also plenty of choirs that meet in the evening or on weekends for singers of all different levels of ability where you can concentrate 100% on the singing. All of these are great and I enjoy doing them with my son. There are so many groups you can take your babies/todders to where the focus is on helping the child to learn - be it music, sign language, science, swimming or sports. If I could, I would change my work pattern and my son's days in nursery so I could still go along (unlike some of the Harmummies, I draw the line at another baby - everyone has their limits!) I loved every minute of it and I still miss it every single week. I was a part of the Harmummies gang for over a year while on maternity leave. PRICES: £6.30 a session - payable half termly or termly. You sign up for a term and come on the same day each week. St Andrew's car park is right next door and there is plenty of room for prams. LOCATION: The Maddermarket Theatre, Norwich. There is 45 minutes of singing, followed by a half hour tea and coffee.Ĭhildren of all ages are welcome to come along - but remember, it is the adults who are doing the singing and socialising!

We meet on Wednesday mornings at 10.15 - at The Maddermarket Theatre, Norwich. I provide toys for the children to play with, but you will be responsible for their safety.Įach session will be followed by tea, fresh coffee and homemade cakes - a lovely opportunity to get to know other Mums! You can bring your little ones along (so no child care required), but you - the Mummies - do the singing! I am a music teacher, experienced singer (and, of course, a Mummy) and have set up my dream choir. You don't have to be a great singer to join The Harmummies, just an enthusiastic one! You bring your little ones along, but YOU do the singing! The Harmummies is a Norfolk based choir, especially for Mums (dads, grandparents, carers).
